3. Future of Wireless International Conference, Møller Centre, Cambridge: 26-27 June 2012

Cambridge Wireless are hosting the 4th ‘Future of Wireless International Conference’, the theme of which is: "The Reshaping of the Mobile Industry." The event features a conference and small exhibition and following last year's successful speed matching of UK companies with potential overseas purchasers, we will be repeating the format - short introductory meetings between innovative UK companies from the Cambridge area, and overseas companies participating in the UKTI delegation. Details of the UK companies that will be undertaking the partnering meetings can be found in this document:

As mentioned, the event features a conference programme to which UKTI has contributed content (Group 1, breakout sessions: International Business Acumen – Four pathways to international business growth: Technology, Opportunity, Funding and Relationships). Full details of the conference programme are in this document.

For approved international companies UKTI will pay for accommodation on a B&B basis for one delegate in the University Arms Hotel (http://www.devere-hotels.co.uk/hotel-lodges/locations/university-arms.html) for 25th and 26th June 2012; along with entry into the Conference and the Gala Dinner (a package worth £549 per delegate), and transport to/from the conference venue on the 25th and 26th June. All other costs of getting to / staying in the UK will need to be paid for by the overseas delegate.

Given the nature of the event we will not be able to provide interpreters so any attending delegates must be able to understand and communicate well in English.

Spaces are limited as we only have 25 spaces available for overseas companies, and the deadline for applications is 12 April 2012 (to ensure that Cambridge Wireless can undertake registration and allocation of introductory partnering meetings)
